Debating on which subwoofer to mate with my Def Tech BP9060 towers, CS9060 Center, DI 6.5 LCR's, DI 5.5BPS Surrounds. Running on Yamaha 3070 receiver. Room is 17 X 21 X 9 dedicated room. Would like to spend about $500-750 per sub (going dual). Would be willing to spend $1000 each if consensus is that would be the way to go. Looking at SVS, HSU, Rythmik, Outlaw, or similar.

Would prefer low extension below 20. 80% Movies, 20% Music. Thoughts appreciated. Thanks!

There really isn't a bad choice with HSU,SVS,Rhytmik or PSA. On the more budget friendly side, The SVS PB-12 NSD are currently going for $500 each. If you want kick in the chest effects with plenty of output, dual HSU VTF-3 MK5's are reasonably priced and would be more than sufficient in that size room.

That’s a big room. Go dual Hsu VTF-3 MK5 for a little over $1,700 delivered and with the right placement and settings they would rock!!!

Thanks for the feedback guys. Was leaning toward the VTF3 MK5 but wasn't sure if it would be overkill. On the same note, wasn't sure if the VTF2/PB200 would leave me wanting more.
