Leaning toward getting the HSU VTF-15H MK2.

20x25 room with an opening to the kitchen and hallway.

What other subs do you recommend in the under 1.5k region?

Looking into the FV15HP as well...

Get 2 of them and get crazy. In order of performance; lower to higher. Im having dejaVue, have you already asked a bunch of sub questions?

HSU VTF-15H MK2 (Bang for the buck CHAMP! Go dualdrive!)

PSA TV15HP (the Rythmik and PSA are interchangeable probably)
Rythmik FV15HP (go 2 if you can. Brand new with more power!! @Soulburner is testing a pair out now)

Now, 18's in your 4,000+ cube room is a better bet, but dual well setup 15's should be respectable.

List doesn't change, other than the HSU falls off and JTR climbs on, with an attitude and desire to rearrange molecules.

All of these subs have been coverede in every "Sub Help Please/I Need A Sub/Best Sub for My Room/Got 300 Dollars Burning A Hole In My Pocket, Which 15" Sub Should I Buy" threads. There are probably 30-40 of them in the last 6 months. Feel free to search.

I knew I was having Deja Vu!!

You already have all your answers. Unless you have a specific concern, asking the same questions again in a different thread wont result in different answers. You'll notice that there are only 2-4 subs in play based on your last thread. I just proposed them again. What is your specific concern with the recommendations already given?
I'd stretch the "$1.5K region" budget a little more and get 2 x VTF-3 mk5s instead

I think you got your models backwards. The 15H is the tippy top HSU ported sub unless Im screwed up.

The VTF-15H MK2 is our new flagship model that features balanced inputs, integrated flare triangular ports, variable Q control, and hybrid operation (including both sealed and ported modes).

Nah I'm just trying to stay within reason of his budget constraints, I'd stretch the budget just a few hundred over the $1500 region and get two (2) x VTF3mk5s for $1850 (or whatever ridiculously low price these sell for) over a single of any of the "under $1500" 15" subs is what I meant

I think he’d need four of the 12” subs but regardless what he chooses, they are all super affordable options . If rhythmic I’d say get two 18”, even that may not be enough for a immense room like this . Or consider psa 21”

Or get two duel driver hsu packs, 4 of 15” subs should be plenty .. get 2 now 2 in a year or so away .
Good luck 🍀👍

What?? How much subwoofage do you have? I think you're underestimating the capability of a pair of large, ported 15"s. The options you're talking about are over double his budget, I'm all for "buy once, cry once" - but if the minimum is 2 x FV18s,that might be a tough sell. Not everyone is after THX reference level, and it's too easy to throw other peoples money around
Dual VTF3 MK5's will be very close to reference capable from 20Hz and up, and more than enough for 99.99999% of people IMHO

Yeah your right those are definitely powerful enough. 20x 25 just sounds huge but two 15” should be plenty regardless which model .

Actually re-measured the room and it is 17x15.

I think starting with one VTF-15H MK2 will be fine.

you also have to calculate shipping for HSU...

The dual drive for the VTF-3.5 is only $1609, so I was allowing $250 for shipping when I said $1850,not sure what the actual shipping is though
Do you use your system at a high volume? What percentage of movies vs music?
