Hey everyone. I have several subwoofers in my home theater and I would like to move some to the back of the room so that I will have 3 in the front and 3 in the back. I would like to connect the subwoofers with XLR so I purchased several 50ft XLR cables and wall plates. I then purchased an XLR splitter but when I tested the splitter with the subwoofers, I received a steady loud signal and nothing else. I tried with a few different cables but received the same thing each time. The cable from my receiver to the XLR splitter is a RCA male to XLR male.

Is the RCA to XLR cable causing the problem or could it be the splitter that I am using? Does it matter that I am sending LFE through the XLR splitter? Here is the splitter I am using:
