Searched other threads/google and read sub placement articles, but didn't see any directly comparable situations.


In the diagram below, would it be worthwhile to try the sub in the alcove behind the TV stand? There is about a 2.5 ft front-to-back gap, and the TV stand is about 5 feet wide and 2.5 ft tall. There are also small CD stands in the notches where the alcove is widest.


Could the vibration/EMI be bad for the TV?

Try it everywhere then put it in the best spot the missus will allow.
