??subwoofer with speaker craft AIM series speakers.

was planing getting the in ceiling speakercraft AIM series for my 5.1 setup. will most likely go with speakercraft center as well, but would like thoughts on A Subwoofer...

i am new at this surround sound set up business.. wife requires inceiling mount. from the people that i talked, it seemed like speakercraft was the concensus. will likely go with a speakercraft center channel as well ( most of you guys seem to say that the front 3 speakers should be from the same manufacture. (unless anyone has other ideas they would be appreciated.

I am in the same situation and would love to hear an answer to this question.


I will be doing in ceiling speakers for my 5.1 setup and was planning to use Speakercraft AIM 8 (4's or 5's) and the Speakercraft center. But, I too am looking for a sub.


Any input or feedback would be greatly appreciated.


Also, it has been a while since I have viewed this forum... is Speakercraft still making a high quality product. Or, is there another speaker manufacturer I should be looking at?
