Any European folks out there?
I have distribution in both Europe and Australia as pointed out. The main reason I've looked for partners for those areas are because of the difficulties of supporting a customer from half the world away. Woofers are moving devices and failures happen both due to normal production flaws, and due to users who may unintentionally damage them.
Shipping a single 30-50lb woofer to Europe or Australia cost more than the product. Imagine having a situation where the product arrives and there is a problem with it, either due to the fault of manufacture, shipping damage, or due to a user error. Replacing it would require return shipping and a replacement sent back out with all the attendant shipping & custom fees again. It just isn't a great way to support this kind of product in my opinion.
In terms of China, I sell pretty much zero product in China. You have to understand that the average wages in China do not support buying consumers goods that cost anywhere near what we spend on toys. Even in the Asian countries, that have high wages (Japan), I don't sell any subwoofers. There is a reason for that though. There are cultural differences and from what I've seen, the Japanese are not bass-heads and HT nuts. They prefer Karaoke machines and expensive tube amps with single driver speakers. They will spend big dollars on audio trinkets, but not on subwoofers. ;-)
