I have 2 Samsung 1080p LCDs now a 40" and 52" but am looking for a bedroom tv, it would also be used as a PC, PS3, XBOX 360 TV once in awhile so a VGA port would be needed and it can be smaller than 32" for portabilty.


I was set on only buying samsung TVs untill my 52" of only 2+ years got vertical lines on one side of the TV they go away once the TV has been on awhile but still the TV is not even 3yrs old yet. My other samsung TV is ok but it's only a year old.


The Cheapest 32" Sony is $499 that i could find.

Sony has some new 32" sets that are just being released now.


These are the new entry-level sets:


KDL-32EX300 (720p)

KDL-32EX308 (720p)

KDL-32EX400 (1080p)


The EX308 looks to be an especially good buy considering the features available. I just started a thread to try to get some more info on it here.


All three of the above-mentioned sets have VGA input.
