Suggestion for seating

510 Views 4 Replies 3 Participants Last post by  alittletank
I am in the process of building my home theater. My room is small so I am running into problems coming up with good seating. The room is only 8.5 ft wide x 14.5 ft long. Ideally I want to be able to seat 4 people, which is the whole family. I like reclining seats. I was thinking of getting a 3 seat curved row set. And maybe also a bean bag chair for one of my sons to set in front of the seat set. Do you guys know of a good 3 seat row that is made for small theaters? Is there any type of seating other than what I am thinking that would work? Any ideas would be appreciated.

Three of these would work in a curved configuration at 93.5"

Or 4 of these in a row.

Both are vendors with great reputations on this forum

The last link is the standard theater seat. I don't like them.
I like the Jive seating. However I was looking at spending no more than $1500. And after look at the room setup last night I think a 3 seat straight row would work better than curved. Does anyone know of a good brand in a budget price?
I have no experience with this company or their chairs.

Interiorexpress.com
