What are you audiophiles using for a decent 2 channel amp or integerated amp?

Need a good 2-channel amp or integrated for $1000 to $1500? Hopefully with alot of digital and analog inputs. One that is quiet.

Recommendations welcome! (Also, will be driving 4 ohm speakers rated at 300 wpc max)

Really looking for one you have USED already and have been very fond of.

THANKS

If you can live with analog only, no digital inputs, then I would recommend Musical Fidelity A308 Integrated Amplifier

I have one, you can usually get one used on Audiogon or eBay in the price range you list (Between $1k and 1.5k).

This is a "dual mono" 150W / channel integrated amp. It can supply 300W into 4 Ohms, and sounds absolutely beautiful.

If you need digital inputs, you would need to buy an external DAC as this amp has no DAC. BUT, it sounds amazing, I can vouch for that, and it is really well made and reliable.

Lastly, I am not trying to sell mine, nor would you have an easy time convincing me to sell mine, I love it and will not sell it even for a higher price. So, if you find one in your price range, grab it, and you will be very happy.
