Hey guys, I recently purchased a townhouse. I have a very small area to work with. I would rather not have to buy an audio rack that stands on the floor next to my tv (panasonic 53" widescreen RPTV). The tv stands about 4 feet tall I believe, what options to I have for mounting some kind of a/v rack above it on maybe the wall? Has to be somewhat decorative (needs to be approved by the wife ) and needs to be able to hold amp, dvd player, cable box, and maybe (gasp) a vcr. Any ideas? Have more or less 300 bucks to work with.

Thanks for your ideas!

This rack system is what I used, it's very sturdy and holds 40 lbs/shelf. I mounted mine behind me on the wall and put my projector on the top shelf with 2 HD stb's, dvd recorder and DVHS deck below it. The Audio Authority component switch fit perfectly between the bottom arms upside down.

thanks! Reading the specs there it says no more than 15lbs per shelf, you are saying that is not accurate? Can you adjust the shelf spacing? My amps is about the size of two vcrs stacked on top of each other, about 30 lbs....

I did not mount my amp on the rack, I placed it on an alcove above the rack. You're right on the weight, for some reason I had 40 lbs in my head.
