I'm looking for a simple solution to my problems. Currently I'm running a non-progressive player to my 1031q projector. I get macrovision problems (even with the AGC switch off) and chroma bug problems. Since I don't have a transcoder, I can't hook up the component outs to the RGB input of the PJ.
So I'm looking either for a new DVD player with RGB outs or a line doubler that will transcode and squash the chroma bug. Any other suggestions are welcome.
And in the meantime, does anybody have any idea why I'm still getting brightness fluctuations with the AGC off?
