Hey guys, i have a Hifonics 1600.1D amp that runs 1200 watts at 2 ohms and 1600 watts at 1 ohm. I am getting the sundown audio SA 12's but i cant decide weather to get the dual 4 or dual 2 ohm subs. If i get the dual 2, they they will be running at 600 watts each at 2ohms which is what they are rated for. But if i get the dual 4 ohm subs they will be running at 800 watts each or 1600 watts total but that would be over powering them by 200 watts each. Is that dangerous? Which subs should i get? I have seen people run the sundowns on 1600 watts for one sub and be completely fine. What should i do?
