The BBC have announced that they will be using 3D and Super Hi Vision at the London 2012 Olympics. There will be three Super Hi Vision screens in the UK (in BBC buildings in London and Glasgow, and TBC one in the Film and TV museum in Bradford) Wonder what tech they will use to distribute around the UK.

Glad that they are trialling the new technology - it will have been 28 years since the first HD cameras at an Olympics (Los Angeles 1984 - though it could have been Moscow 1980 if there weren't issues about taking hi-tech stuff behind the Iron Curtain apparently?)
