Actually, after reading good things about the mini-itx version from hush, I decided to order one of those to use as my HTPC. It shipped today. The hush site only had one american retailer of them, which is fortunately is the same city as me, so it should be here soon. When I get it, I'll post impressions, if you'd like.

i *really* wanted one of these. i just wish there was a vfd and ir panel. well, that and it's a bit pricey. it seems too good looking a box to have to stick little usb gadgets around it.
