I need a little advice on what surge suppressor to get. I live in a relatively new building where my lights occassionally go dim when there are high winds or a storm. I'd like to get something that I can move to a new place with that might be a little bit worse when it comes to power stability. I just got a new 52XBR6 with an S550 blu-ray player. I've also got an Xbox 360, cable box, cable modem, and wireless router. Some time in the future I will likely add a receiver and speakers, but not probably for a couple of years. Reading through the forums it looks like people are saying line conditioners are a good idea. I think I've narrowed it down to these...
Monster HTS 850 - can find it for about 45
Monster HDP 650 - can find it for about 70
APC C5 - can find it for about 80
Belkin PureAV 10-outlet - can find it for about 60
Are there other suppressors/conditioners I am overlooking? I want to get something good but I dont want to spend a fortune for overkill.
