Lightly used SurgeX XU115 UPS incorporating series mode surge suppression.

This is a good UPS to own for a couple of reasons:

1) It incorporates series mode surge suppression, with 2 pass through (surge protected) outlets. So you are basically getting a SA15 which normally retails for $399 included with the UPS.

2) The UPS is silent in normal operation. Most computer UPSs have noisy fans which is on the whole time, this one does not. It's rated at 1000VA, enough for most projectors out there.

3) It doesn't put out electrical hash on the line, polluting downstream equipment even when it is not on like most computer UPS systems do.

In original box with all accessories, 9/10 condition, installed in a system for 6 months then removed.

Hi Nyal,

Does each outlet protect against these or does it fall under the UPS or the 4 surge protection?

Spikes & Surges
Noise
Outages & Blackouts
Sags & Brownouts

Swells & Overvoltage

Yes all outlets are surge protected with the series mode surge suppression. Two outlets are connected via the UPS. IMO you should only plug computers or projectors into the UPS outlets, all the rest of your gear should be plugged into the other outlets.
