The last couple of Live from the Met broadcasts have been received by me in stereo only from my Verizon FIOS feed. They were Rodelinda and The Enchanted Island. Before I was getting Dolby 5.1 surround from PBS. Does anybody know anything about this? It seems that the number of stations broadcasting in surround sound to their HD feeds is much reduced since previously. The surround was pretty compressed but I think it was better than just Dolby 2.0. I can still watch baseball and the Discovery Channel and get surround sound, but I would rather watch Met broadcasts that way.
