I have done a lengthy research on the web regarding the following problem, and since I found no similar case to mine, I am coming to this forum hoping to find the answer.
My dedicated home theater room is semi-circular and for reasons beyond my control I have to place the TV and R-C-L speakers in the straight part of the room. I will be seating in the farthest point from the TV, which is a distance equal to the radius of the room measured perpendicularly to the TV.
In this viewing/listening position, the surround speakers can't be place behind my listening position and if they are place to the sides (on the curve wall) they will end up being in front of my listening position. Being this the situation (I hope I explained it clearly), where do you think I should place the speakers and in which direction should I point them so I can enjoy proper surround sound placement during movie soundtrack play?
TIA;
P.S. I attached a drawing of the room
