Surrounds to pair with Polk inwalls

222 Views 2 Replies 2 Participants Last post by  englishbeat
Hi all,

Newbie here

Just received 3 LC265i's which I will use as L-R-C in a new home theater. I understand about timbre matching the fronts. Would like to stay with Polk for my surrounds, but to stay in the same "series", the LSi FX seems a bit pricy for surrounds ($1100/pr) Can I get by with either the FXi5's or FXi3's??? This will be mainly for movies and not multichannel music.

Other possibles I have researched are Axiom QS8, PSB S50. I would like bipole/dipole surrounds.

Thanks in advance for any thoughts.

Stick with the polk audio speakers to have a seamless soundstage, and those polk surrounds you mentioned are a very good value for the money.
Thanks lou

Researching ebay and it seems I can pick up a new pair of the LSi FX for $600-700. The $1100 was for retail....
