If my soon to be SVS subs 20-39 CS+ I think? needs EQ where should the unit go before the bass amp(preferred) or just after the preamp?..Thanx Bill

The EQ should plug between your crossover (whether in a preamp processor or receiver or stand alone crossover) and your bass amp.

In the typical system...you'd go...


Receiver subwoofer preout--->input on the EQ--->output of EQ--->amplifier powering the subwoofer.
