If you are actually talking about the SVS SB-12 Plus and not the PB-12 Plus, you are comparing apples to oranges.

The SB-12 Plus is a very good small sealed sub that does well with music, but just adequate for HT.

The A5-350 will have much more output below 32 Hz, and more output above 32 Hz as well.

A realistic comparison would be the SVS PB-12 NSD and the A5-350. The A5-350 would have more output than the PB-12 NSD if I am not mistaken.

So I presume performance is more important to you that size/decor? I have a little SB-12 and it sounds great, but I'm not going to lie - the overall evaluation of the sub has to consider the fact that you hardly even notice it. It is that small.

All I will tell you is that, everything else aside except for their sound, these subs will have a very different character.

You really can't determine how much output a subwoofer is going to have simply by how many watts its amplifier has.

If you have room for a larger ported subwoofer, you can get extension to below 20 Hz and more output, especially below 32 Hz.

Perhaps you will get a better idea of what I am talking about by reading this entire article, in which the SB-12 Plus is compared to larger ported subs.

You might be interested in the HSU 3.3. It is on sale for 10% off. The Ed A5-350 is also a very good balance of power and price.
