I had a quick question... I cant wait till I get my SVS 20-39 pc plus tomorrow, but it looks like the tracking number email i got says "signature required." I will not be home the whole day!! do you recall having to sign for your svs? or did UPS just leave it?

I had mine sent to the office since I wouldn't be home, and yes I had to sign for it.


The next sub I order from SVS I'm going to use BAX because their service seems to be pretty much overnight if you ship to inside the US

My father was "nice" enough to stay home and watch golf all day waiting for my SVS. Not that I had to convince him, mind you, ANY excuse to watch golf is valid for him. Although, didn't matter it didn't show up until I got home from school anyway. The trick was NOT telling them how huge it was before I ordered it , I showed them pictures of a sunfire cube sub. They've learned to live with it anyway .

If you leave a signed note with intructions where to leave the package, and a contact phone number, UPS will usually follow your wishes.

You can call your local UPS terminal and tell them you can't be home during the times they normally deliver. They should let you go and pick it up from them without a hassle, just bring your driver's liscense. But if you don't have the time to do that or a truck, they will usually accept a signed note and special instructions to maybe place it behind your house etc...

UPS will NOT leave the sub without a someone in-person to sign for it, not signed release forms. I had to go get mine form them the next day.
