sw battlefront only runs @... why?

sw bf only runs @ 800x600 on my ati 9800 using catalyst4.10 and plv-z2... my desktop is set to 1280x720... all my other proghrams run @ 1280x720 as well... but in swbf the only resolution i have as an option (in the menu) is 800x600.. ... any thoughts? thanks

The game does not support widescreen resolutions.

i realize that... but it only shows 800x600 as the only possible resolution... from what i've read, others have more to choose from...

Not games--what other GAMES do you have that give you any higher than 800x600 if they don't support the native res?

i don't understand your question...


both COD and UT run at resolutions that are greater than 800x600...

i know that this particular game does not support 1280x720, i just cannot figure out why the max (and only) res is 800x600
