While I didn't swap the sats for the 60s, I did swap the Micra center out for a WS60 (back when I had the Micra setup). I found the 60 to sound a little weaker than the Micra center. Maybe it was just me but it seemed the Micra center, though smaller and with no passive radiators like the 60, had a bit fuller, less 'tinny' (for lack of a better descriptive) sound.
I eventually went to the new Energy TAKE onwalls all around, but if I were to stick with the Athenas, which I really liked, I'd look for a couple of MC centers to use as L and R.

I didn't think they were a bad match, just not really as much a step up as I would have expected. Perhaps the 100s would be better, perhaps not. Those I have never heard. In your case, it may be a nice move from the Micra sats to the 60s. They are aesthically pleasing and still an Athena product (a fine brand, even though now owned by the Klipsch folks).
