I Have An Rca Ultimate Tv Satellite Rcvr That Has Two Outputs (one S-video And One Rca). I Recently Purchased A Dvd Recorder That I Want To Use To Record Items From Said Rca Unit. I Don't Want To Record From Rca And I Dont Want To Watch From Rca So Therefore I Need A Switchbox With Multiple Ins And Outs.

The device you're looking for would be most often called a Matrix Switch. Companies such as Extron and Autopatch have such devices. There are certainly others, and likely at lower price points, but someone else would have to pipe in.

You should be able to just connect the 2 devices using an S video Y cable. I have used one and had no loss of picture quality.
