I was curious if there is a way on the Mits 55809 to switch audio from one input to another while viewing two things in parallel. I know that by pushing the exchange button I can flip the picture on the right side to the left and hear the audio, but I would like to be able to do it without flipping the video. Not real helpful in the middle of a long run from scrimmage to try and switch over to hear the video and have the picture disappear for a second.

Thanks

It depends.

If you are using the TV speakers, the answer is: Not to my knowledge.

If you have an A/V receiver, the answer is: Maybe.

Look at the TV rear panel and determine if, like the 55905, it has "PIP Audio Output" jacks located below the "Monitor Output" jacks. (My manual does not show them, but they are there.) If you have a spare A/V input (Tape?), connect the two and you will have what you want.

(Remember that, for some reason, many Tape buttons require a press in order to exit to another setting.)
