watched it yesterday. don't know if it was dialnorm or maybe a lower encoding level, but it lacks something. raising the level a few dB made things better :D but again, dvdfile pinpoints rightfuly the small "issue" of the soundtrack.

I think it could have been more "violent", since the film...... is. :D

THE MATRIX soundtrack rocked better for instance but maybe this only a film soundtrack issue and not an encoding level issue. I would hate to learn WARNER cooks down its action movie from now on.

"SOUND: "Swordfish" isn't quite the agressive 5.1 soundtrack that many would expect" sums it up well.

dialogues were great however, very natural I think.

David,

I agree with you 100%.

I've read some good reviews for sound on this dvd but I disagree.

It somehow lacks dynamics.

hi Eric :)

kinda disappointing isn't it? I hate to raise volume to compensate a "lacking" track :D ( which is one reason I love DTS :D gggggggg )

I wonder what a chart would reveal out if this dvd sound track.

best

PS: add EXIT WOUNDS: same "problem"
