How do I enable NFS on Synology DS207+ network attached storage?

I Telnet in OK, but the how do I position my file "S83nfsd.sh.sample" so that when I type "mv S83nfsd.sh.sample S83.nfsd.sh" the file can be found?

I currently have twwo copies of the file, one on the root of each hard drive.

Thank you,

Harry.

I have that unit but can't answer your question. There is a pretty helpful forum on the Synology website you should look at.

Switch your commands, you're cd'ing then trying to move a file that's not there. mv the file first then cd to the directory or do this

or get the beta firmware that has NFS in the admin panel

New Firmware allows this from GUI confirmed. We bought our DS207+ from www.mnmsystems.com and have enabled NFS. It is working fine. Server came all configured for us just plug and play. Best thing we did
