Syntax 37" 1080p model

There seems to be confusion on the 37" model on whether it's 1366x768, or 1080p, or maybe both. But looking at the CES display from the Syntax website the 1080p is nowhere in sight. Wouldn't they have the 1080p at CES if it were coming out this summer?

There are no panels at 37 inches with that resolution.

The 1366 model is based on an LG panel.

The 1920 model is presumably based on the same Chi Mei panel that Westinghouse is also planning on using. That panel -- while planned -- does not exist yet.

Ok, soooooo, the question is, do you buy the 37" 1366x768 Syntax or the Westinghouse 37" 1080p which would be comparably priced? Would the panels be a determining factor in your decision?
Syntax announced in Jan that model LT37HVDP will be 1080p HD-compatible .

People have to stop quoting the Syntax press releases. They are generally wrong.

The model coming out soon is based on the lower-resolution 37-inch LG panel. For a clue what it might look like, see the LG 37-inch display at a Best Buy or other retailer.

The 1920 x 1080 model cannot come out soon from Westinghouse or Syntax. No LCD manufacturer is shipping a 1920 x 1080 panel in that size and if memory serves, those panels won't be available until Q3 of this year. I know for certain Westinghouse's model is supposed to use the Chi Mei panel. I imagine that Syntax's is also but it's possible Syntax is going with another panel (which is also not shipping soon).
As I understand it Syntax plan to only use LG/Phillips panels. If you check the LG/Phillips LCD web site (LGPhillips-lcd.com)you can see the current Syntax 32/37 Super IPS panels as well as the upcoming 42" and 55" panels. Only the 55" is 1080P. I'd say the 55" will ship at the end of '05. The 42" will ship this summer. I have the 32" and its quite good (post cal) for the $$. Certainly on par with the 3S's (Sharp/Sony/Samsung).
Well, if they are using >>only
