The Nexgen projectors use a 200 Watt Osram VIP lamp. I don't have a specific part number but it should be on the bulb somewhere.


Two years ago the dealer cost on them was about $270 including the lamp carrier. So $550 sounds a bit high IMO. The shatter guard glass is integrated with the projector not the lamp so the lamp price should be on lower side of projector replacement lamp prices.


For anyone who plans retrofit the bulb themselves, always use gloves and be very careful to allign everything properly. I will probably do it myself when the time comes with my Negen (Virtuoso). It is up there in hours.

The Studio Experience 50HD is the same as the Stealth.
