TDU & MS Wireless Wheel

Anyone figure out settings that make TDU playable with the wireless wheel? Since there seems to be no resistance until you're practically sliding sideways, I'm finding it impossible to keep my wheel centered. I end up in a situation where I start drifting, so I try to correct, and then just bounce back and forth until I finally spin the car out. I can correct if I have a long enough straightaway, but it's killing my ability to win anything. Am I missing a FF setting somewhere that actually gets the wheel to return to center? It seems like it does a better job of this in the dashboard than in TDU.

I had this same issue right after the update but somehow got used to it so it doesn't bother me much at all. It still feels a little like the cars are on ice, but I like having the force feedback.
Download the Hardcore mode, it costs 160 pts, but it takes full advantage of the wireless wheel.
Is the hardcore mode available at the start? I had read something about needing to "finish" the game or something to play it...

better get started on your 5000 miles!
Yeah, you have to first play through and get champion status to unlock hardcore. Can anyone verify that hardcore mode actually has a return to center behavior, though? That's my main gripe right now.
Yeah, I don't know where Dankir is coming from. You're complaining about the steering and he recommends a mode where the steering is five times harder. LOL.

Will never make it before Forza 2 is out!
Check out my achievements in this game. I had champion status before finishing the single player campaign. I don't consider the ones I got to be all that difficult, just time consuming.
