Get a new cartridge. It comes with a new stylus. Sitting in a garage (no matter how long) that cartridge is probably not healthy. It's not worth just getting a replacement stylus IMO.

Any "non P-type" cartridge that meets the manufacturer's spec of "Usable Cartridge Weight 4 - 6 g" should be OK.

Most new cartridges should meet this.

This is up to your amplifier. It's not a specification of the turntable.

I'd slap on a Shure M97XE. Under $65. Very nice sound.

thanks and the replacement cartridge are all good ? or i need one in particular ?
I'll pose the obvious question.

Before you go to any expense for a "garage find".... do you have a receiver that has a "phono" input? If not, you'll need to also purchase a phono pre-amp.
Yes i have a devon 2310 CL with monitor audio rs6 , it has a phono
Thanks , so i can buy any cartridge brand that meats the weight and the pressure and be a non p type

And is compatible with your amp's PHONO input - just moving magnet, or either moving magnet or moving coil.
