I have both turntables and only need to keep one. The Technics is more convenient because of the automatic arm but I was wondering it the Project had better quality?

I suspect that they're comparable in most ways, but with the QD33 taking the lead in speed stability. The primary benefit of the Pro-Ject is that you can use any standard 1/2-inch mount cartridge; with the QD33 you're limited to a small number of P-mount cartridges.
