can you put a new Terk LNB on a Sony Dish?

Not if it is the dish with the funny looking LNB (the one with the lights)

Will not work with dishes with LNB like this:

If you have the standard RCa or Hughes lnb, then your ok.

Doh! I gota remount the dish, I have the one w/ lights

speaking of, what are those lights for?

The lights to help you point in the correct direction.
