Terk OTA antenna/HD Tivo no longer working?

Hi all.


I had a local DTV installer install a new H10-250 HD Tivo as well as rewire the entire house with RG6. Previously, I had a very old Sony 2 LNB dish and a Terk clip on type OTA HD antenna. It was diplexed and fed the HD tuner in my Mitsubishi 65611 well. I was able to pickup just about every local HDTV signal. Cut to today...


After the new oval 3 LNB dish and multiswitch were installed, it seems the clip on is no longer able to pass it's signal through the RG6 wire. We tried one cable from the antenna directly to the HD Tivo; didn't work. Tried sending 2 outs from the multiswitch to the antenna then to the HD Tivo and then de-multiplexing it; no signal at all.


Is the old clip on type antenna compatible with my new setup or should I be in the market for a new antenna?

get a new antenna. generally terk are not that well liked and especially that semi round clip on style.

i understand it did work before, just saying........ get a new one. zenith silver sensor makes a good small indoor ota antenna. or channel master and winegard make good outdoor units.
