The temporal comb filter in DScaler 3.1 should work even on old Celerons and other machines without SSE or 3DNow. But I don't know whether any of those machines are fast enough to run it without dropping frames. If it's too slow for them, I should just disable the plugin.

So my request is: Could someone with an Intel processor without SSE support post how the comb filter runs -- in particular whether it drops any frames?

I think the relevant processors would be the Pentium MMX, Pentium 2, and some Celerons. Try the temporal comb filter without any other processor hungry functions, such as other filters, JudderTerminator, or the GreedyHM, Video 2-frame, or adaptive deinterlacers.

Thanks very much! And feel free to ask about the comb filter or (especially) to report bugs.
