I just ordered a Panasonic TH-42PA20U. Until the new 50" comes out, this set will live in the family room. Rather than mounting it and then unmounting it, I'd like to put it on the stand and rest that on a component rack that only has 20" between its supporting bolts. Will the stand fit?

Thank you both -- that's the info that I needed, but not the answer that I wanted.

For those who care, the stand is at http://www.boltz.com/component . The width between the nuts on the top shelf is 21.5" -- an inch and a quarter too narrow for this stand. Unless...is the bottom of the stand solid or might it fit _over_ the nuts?

ksb,

The stand has a triangle design so maybe it can fit on the shelf. See on the following link the illustration for the TY-ST42PA20s (pdf). It probably won't be able to display the Japanese characters but the drawings with dimensions (cm) are readable.

My 42PA20U came yesterday. The stand is a perfect fit for the Boltz component racks. The widest part of the stand fits snuggly between two sets of nuts on each side of the top of the rack. It's so close that one could easily assume that Panasonic and Boltz worked together on them (although you'd very likely be wrong).

Thanks again for your help. --Ken
