Thanks guys and opinions wanted

After reading these forums for days I decided to take back my HTIB which was a Pannosic HT930. What i bought was a Pioneer VSX-815 receiver, Athena point 5 MK 2 speakers, A KLH sub, and Toshiba SD-4980 DVD player. I got this for around 525 dollars and was only 125 more than i paid for the HTIB. Still want to get to cool front floor standing speakers but for now i am tapped out.

I know the sub is cheap but its better than nothing for now. Thanks to all the posters for the input they give. I think i made the right choice and was wondering what you guys thought for my first set up?

Looks fine, but I would upgrade the sub before going with floor standers.



How much was the KLH sub? A better option may have been the Dayton at aroud $125
