Hi,

I'm going to pick up BenQ W1070 next month, but I'm a little confused on which screen to get.

- The room is completly sealed from outside light

- It has be a 84 inch

- Manual screen

- I'm sitting 3.5-4 meters from the screen.

Thanks,

It's not like there is a long list of high quality manual screens on the market. In fact, I've yet to see one which I would really call 'high quality', but the very small screen size leans towards a grey material, if you can find it.

If your walls and/or ceiling are light colored or white, then you aren't really controlling light, and that asks for a grey screen as well.

Now, if you can find it...

Elite Screens don't have a manual screen in anything other than 1.1 gain white.

DaLite is similar.

Draper has some really nice tab-tensioned manual screens...

I would strongly encourage such a product! Plan to pay.

For non-tensioned, something like this:

They have 85" diagonal, not 84".

Most of their other models are also available in grey:

Realistically, from your seating distance, you should be in a 110" size. But, that's up to you.

If you go up to a larger size, than getting away from grey may be a good choice.

Thanks for the reply.

Is there a good 84 inch motor screen you can recommend then?

I know, but the thing is, I have only room for a 84 inch. The room I am using is only 2.18 meters wide. so you can imagine my problem.
