Just thought I'd let anyone interested in this title know that I purchased it at a BB here in San Antonio today. It's priced for 37.99.

Do you have a stock number for that? I'm going to BB tomorrow
If the stock number is the number that shows up on the receipt, I do. It's 7979459.
Lucky, all the BB around me are anal about release dates. Tried to get AOD last week. The store had it but would not sell till next tuesday.
I just received an email from Amazon that my copy shipped today.
Forgot this was coming out this month. Just placed my order with Amazon, no way I am paying that rediculous BB price.

Well boys, it seems that we've moved into the price field of LDs from over 10 years ago...$39.95 for a CLV issue with no extras! And the prices will start to climb!!!
You should see the price of the SD DVD for this title. It's 29.98 list.

Isn't that the normal list price for new release SD DVD's?
The Movie's reviews were'nt all that good, it'll be a rental for me. I'm approaching HD-DVD with a mindset that I never had with SD-DVD, that I don't need to own every disk out there. My SD Collection some 1000 disks later contain stuff I just would not watch again, I'm not making that mistake again with a HD Format
This is definitely a rental for me. The movie itself is questionable and I'm not expecting demo quality from this release. Is this going to be a combo disk?
For $24.79 from Amazon with two day shipping and no taxes I decided to go ahead and buy it. That's a good price for a new title in the combo format. Although I would have rather paid under $18 like most of my other HD DVD purchases from Amazon.
The Lake House was on shelves at my Best Buy. Went there yesterday to see if Batman Begins was on early but it wasn't.
I saw The Lake House also at BB but it has been out for two weeks. I'm going to rent that title.
The Lake House came out last month, why wouldn't it be on the shelf?

Not that the slight difference matters to me, but how did you get it for $24.79?

I ordered it this morning and it came out to $25.19 with the 10% discount and no shipping charge.
My copy of The Break Up shipped saturday from amazon.com and will be arriving today according to my tracking number. Thats a week early.

What sort of trick is involved in getting stuff shipped early? Are you in a foreign country?
