WalMart.com has The Contract HD DVD available for preorder at $15.87. The MSRP is $32.99 so it seems like it is a good deal. I am not sure if the movie is any good, but price seems good. Amazon has it for $22.95 so it is cheaper than them. Any thoughts?

The movie was great. So I hear.
This movie that was never released in theaters, goes straight to dvd and the studio decides it warrants an hd-dvd release right away or is it because they don't have any other movie in the vault and need to recoup this loss.

Hey John Cusack and Morgan Freeman, at least got some stars in it. But looks pretty dumb. I was laughing when they showed the guy getting pushed into traffic. It just looked so out of place. And the music for the trailer made it more boring.
I had already pre-ordered it from Wal-Mart. I'm not expecting too much, but I love me some Freeman/Cusack shared screen time. This is probably being timed to ride Cusack's shirt tails, since he has a big summer release this year.

The movie only ranks a 5.6/10 on IMDB, but it wouldn't be the first time that a lower ranking film was a guilty pleasure that I enjoy. Red Dawn is also only a 5.6, but I enjoyed that film.
