For most of my life I've listened to music digitally, but about a year ago I picked up an old record and was hooked. I've been listening to my music almost exclusively on vinyl for the past 8 months or so.

Anyway, I've been listening on a Garrard Z100 turntable given to me by my grandparents, a small tube preamp, and a 70's Onkyo reciever. It sounded very nice to my ears.

The Onkyo reciever bit the dust, so I just picked up a Fisher 414 quadraphonic receiver.

I'm spending about $25 on it, and my friend is bringing it over next week. Is anyone familiar with that model? Is it awful? Tolerable? Decent? All judged in the scale of sub-$50 vintage recievers.

much thanks,
