This is going to be the ultimate test title for Blu-ray VS HD-DVD, not only for sound, but in terms of sales. Because its got PCM, people won't favour the HD-DVD version.

I think it is one of the best movies in decades.

It is definitely a movie to watch more than once and on DVD, if for only to catch the fast quick dialog. When I first saw it in the theatres there were many moments the audience reactions drowned out much of the dialog..
