Not related to DBS at all, but about a radio telescope. Kind of lazy today so I'll copy the NY Times' TV guide summary:
Quote:
(2000) Sam Neil, Kevin Harrington. Huge radio telescope in New South Wales saves the day for NASA. Wry, affectionate rendering of a great moment. Go Aussies! (PG-13), (105m).
Moderately good 1080i; OAR would have been best, IMO. Missed part of its 7:15 pm start Monday. Hope to catch a full repeat Friday, the 10th, at 2:15 pm. Best scene, aside from the first moon landing: Sam Neil's character sitting on the rising dish. -- John

Edited add: No, not that John Mason.

I was surprised to see this on HBO. I bought the DVD last year. After watching this film I thought to myself "This will never be on sat much less in HD".

BTW; John are you the same John Mason on the VetteNet?
