i just got this bd & the pic is dark & the 2.35 ar adds 6in bars @the top & dottom of the screen,watching one of my fav fight seens when jen g gets pulled thru the whole in the floor like half the action is missing.

i dont even want this on bd i would rather just watch it on my dvr. 2.35 sucks!

You do realise half the action is not missing and that the cinematographer framed the movie for 2.35:1 ?


I believe this was shot Super 35 so you want it open matte ? Then ok but half the action is not missing.

Not this again. Why would you want them to chop off a good portion of the movie that was filmed so that you don't see the dreaded black bars?

This movie sucks no matter how you watch it. If you have it on the DVR why would you buy?

It's not worth seeing twice.


As for the aspect ratio complaint all I can say is ....................... WTH?

The image is intentionally dark and unstable due to Berg's shaky camera effect. The most disappointing aspect of the BD is the sound quality.

If you have 6 inch bars on the top and bottom and are watching on a widescreen tv, your system is set up wrong.

im with you to a point but i like the gun & fight seens so much i wanted to own it.

well everything else looks fine. for this movie should i change the setting on the tv. come to think of it when i put the movie in dts dident come up i had to go into the set up menu on the ps3 an chang the audio, i think my kid may have changed some things. ill go and look things over.
