The largest and best LCD

I'm looking into the Sony 52" W3000, however I wanted to run a question by some of you. Which LCD HDTV 52" or above is the best picture? Mostly concerned about PS3 Gaming. Any advice would be appreciated.

Best, according to who? Some people would say Samsung LN-T5271 while others would go with Sony 52XBR4. You can't go wrong with either set.
Why do people still use the term "best"??

The CEA doesn't know what the term means.

Excellent point since it's subjectively personal. To my eyes you cannot beat size for HT impact and I cannot have front projector in my room or plasma with a bright sunny room and thus for me personally I would choose the new Sharp D94 65" LCD provided it has no banding issues. Best for me and my eyes and what I have to work with in my HT environ whereas most professionals and a consensus it seems here is the Pio Kuro 60" large size for many though I would not try to make it the best in my home as I already tried that in the past and it cost me financially to get the plasma out.

To me Size is very important and immersive and having had a 60" and 57" panel going down to a 52" doesn't work unless it's in a secondary viewing room not the primary HT room. If the D94 65" has no bands, has deep blacks of a 71 series and no LCD haze I'll definitely go for it myself this spring provided they get that price down a bit closer to the D64.

Find what is best for you keeping in mind your homes viewing environ and preferences and don't follow the herd unless they match your viewing preference demands and environ and budget.

I'd have to give the edge to the Samsung 5271 simply because their AMP is a bit stronger than Sony's Motionflow, effectively making a lot of 30fps games look like 60fps. As a gamer, this is an AWESOME option to have.

Picture quality wise, I think you can't go wrong with either set. They're both the heavy hitters of LCDs on it's time of release.

Or, for 1/3 the price a DLP RPTV.
