THE LEGO MOVIE is incredible!

See it if you haven't already, see it again if you've seen it once! Seriously guys, this movie is Pixar-quality storytelling that is aimed just as much at the adults as the kids. It's so full of energy and gags that you'll walk out in a far greater mood than when you went it. My older son and I saw it yesterday and I'm still smiling thinking about all of the jokes (and I'm sure I missed a lot).

I can't believe there isn't a thread about this already. (Yes, I did search.)

I texted "Everything is awesome!" to my son earlier, and said haha, now you're going to have that song stuck in your head all day.

I totally LOVED the dickish Lego Batman too. In fact, the whole CD superhero cast was great.

I'm not sure I'll go to the theater for that one, but based on your comments and what I've read about the film so far, I might go for a blind buy

If we don't make it in for this will certainly get on bluray as well.
My kids and I really want to see this. Just don't know if it's in the cards. I need a watch that can stop time. Like that one movie with Hayden Skywalker. I can't remember the name.
Took our 4 and 6 year old to see it, we loved it! The wife included, it's going to be a must-buy when it's released

It was going all good until they did that little twist at the end.
Caught this over the weekend. Fantastic stuff here. The ending is beautiful you bunch of hard asses. :)

Yeah, I was not a fan of the ending either when we saw it theatrically. Last week we did a viewing party for it. 17 folks crammed into my 11 seat theater and everyone seemed to like the ending. Mostly nine year olds, but a few younger, and they all seemed to think it was cool.

It kind of took me out of the movie...:D
So the word on this Lego movie has been nothing but great. I'm getting a sense it's along the lines of Sponge Bob the movie in terms of entertainment & humor. You gotta admit Sponge Bob was crazy hilarious & creatively clever.

Nope.
I am 52 years old and loved The Legos Movie! It is awesome in 3D on blu ray!! Next to Frozen 3D blu ray, this is my fav!
