Picked up the Manchurian Candidate today and I've just started watching it. So far looks like the PQ is very good. I have yet to see the bitrate drop below 32 Mbits. Audio is only 5.1 DD or 5.1 DTS sadly no LPCM. Another great BR release.

Are the BR and the HD-DVD from the same master? The HD-DVD is a disappointment because of the noise reduction they applied. The picture is screwed up most of the time.

Anyone with updated opinions on Manchurian Candidate PQ? I really liked the movie, but there hasn't been much talk at all of the film's PQ.

PQ on the HD DVD looked very good to me,very sharp throughout.
