Ya gotta love the eye popping, stunning visual feast afforded to us via glorious 1080i, eh?

TWC - with DD 5.1 and the reverberating rim shots.

I am seeing way too many SD replays, however.

Also, they put a crawler on the bottom of the screen for a time and it was crooked and half cut off.

Why does TNT-HD have little clear small pixels all over the place during fast motion? VIA DishNetwork BTW. They were horrible showing during the NBA all-star game slam dunk contest. ESPN-HD NHL game looks better :D

E*. Awesome visuals.. Actually heard surrounds used in this game (they were non-existent except for the crawler sound effect in previous games). I gotta say again, save for the occasional macro-blocking, the visuals were stunning. So freakin' clear... And I've been watching HD/HD Sports for 3 years now on HDNet, InHD, ABC/NBC/CBS...

I've also noticed the macro-blocking on V* when the TNT logo spins in and out. Over all it looked great but I still think they need to make the scoreboard smaller and move it around every now and then.

I watched it on Voom. Throughout the game, there was regular pixellation where blocks of pixels would turn green or white in horizontal "strips" across the screen. I am wondering if this picture breakup (I saw a LOT of it yesterday) is just on my setup or whether others on Voom also saw this.

I didnt get a chance to watch it last night, but I did see Sundays game and heard the booming bass. They must be adding in some kind of audio effects. A basketball bouncing on a hardwood floor or a basketball clanking off a metal rim doesnt go "BOOM BOOM BOOM" it was annoying Sunday every time somebody dribbled the ball my windows and walls were rattling, I had to crank the subwoofer channel waaaaaaay down.
