SD in Baltimore, WBFF-DT Sinclair, neither EDTV or DD5.1.
Once again, guess what channel we're watching Mr. Sinclair?

Fox Widescreen & DD 2.0 is up in Detroit, Toledo, Seattle, Boston.

Is anyone getting 5.1?

Fox is OK on Comcast Montgomery in Rockville (in widescreen but no 5.1). I have been having problems with other HD channels for the past few weeks, however. But that for a different thread...

Greeeeaaaaat. I'm missing the center channel. I get all of the action, surround sound, the cheering, etc.... But no TV announcers. It's just like being there, but more confusing. :) I think it's a problem at the stadium, and not in my system. Anyone else having this problem?

center channel workin fine here. surround mix sounds great, even maybe a bit fuller than cbs' 5.1 mix. havent heard any cool discrete effects yet though (like towards the end of the cbs broadcast i swear someone yelled peyton sucks! from one of the rears... lol).

Well. Video via OTA FOX and audio via cable analog. That solves my problem for now, but I didn't have a problem on CBS this morning. Drat. Maybe it's the local affiliate.

Anyone else experiencing this?
I just checked again and, whaddayaknow, the channel is operational once again. I would've been kinda miffed if I had to watch the entire game on the analog channel.

Any comments on the 5.1 mix, especially relative to today's "other" game?

The receiver shows Dolby 5.1, but no sound from center channel. It seem like it is a local station problem.

I have center channel here at home, but we have some calls at the station that some people are not hearing center channel.

I am going to make a guess here and say that if a station is only sending left and right channel and a system is in some unknown condition, the center channel is missing. If the station is sending 5.1, then it is there.

If that is a true assumption, then the problem is at Philly with something not set right.
